Well, I should have realized that it is day number 13. My on-line cloud business software is not working and I cannot contact anyone until Monday. Add to that I am out of staples and you may just put me in a corner and call me Useless.
So let's chat about office supplies. I am an official office products junkie! Before I went back to school for Interior Design I spent 6 years as a Merchant for all of the North American Office Depot stores, 1 year with Levenger's as a senior merchant and another 5 years working for one of the largest Office Supply manufacturers in the world. You would think I would be past office supplies by now. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I love 'em!
These are my top 5 most used favorites!
#1 The Swingline 2002 Limited Edition Red 747 stapler. It is a workhorse. Never let's me down! I was given mine at a corporate meeting years ago as I was working for the company that makes them. Sleek design. This is mine...
This stapler was immortalized in the 1999 movie "Office Space". Milton's boss took his stapler and frankly that is the premiss of the whole film. Funny or Die has remade the "Office Space trailer as a horror flick with the Stapler as the weapon of choice.
#2 The Post it Note - They are everywhere! I cannot help myself! 2 years ago I was asked by a friend at 3M to help them pick the Back to School colors - such fun! In turn they sent me a box of 3m products.....now see what has happened...
P.S. Don't but the super sticky unless you really want it to stick for a good long while! I have had them pull up type and paint and not release easily. They are great for door notes and in the car!
#3 The Circa Pads and Notebooks....
I love these versatile books. They are slim like a spiral notebook, but work like a binder. You can customize the rings, the covers and insert and take out pages whenever you like!
#4 Blue Ink - Love to write in Blue! No other color ink feels as good to me. It has been this way since I learned how to write!
#5 Post it Flags - great for noting where to sign on a contract, noting pages in books and magazines, and reminding me where I need to spend more time in my work papers. LOVE THEM!
# 6 Single page Cutters....Perfect for pulling pages for magazines for our files or clipping articles from the newspaper!
